Mike van Helsdingen, Managing Director

Mike van Helsdingen started working with Ruwac Industriesauger in 1988 and became self-supporting in 1992 and took over The Netherlands Ruwac business in 1994. Ever since, Mike has been expanding his expertise in this very specialized kind of market. Over the years Ruwac has grown to be one of the most important brands of industrial vacuum cleaners in The Netherlands today. When Mike visited Kenya in 2010 discovered that there is a big combustible dust and insidious hazards in Kenya processing industries. No one knew much about this problem. So, it was then that he decided to start a company in Kenya, where he could bring his expertise and teach management about the hazards they faced in their factories. After founding Ruwa Kenya and Ruwac East Africa, which successfully gained a foothold in the market place, inquiries began pouring in from as far places as Ethiopia, Botswana, Nigeria, South Africa and Cameroon. As demand grew, it became necessary to form a new entity. That was the birth of Ruwatex. Ruwatex is the exclusive marketing agency for Ruwac in Africa. The company uses a network of agents throughout Africa to market Ruwac products while still staying true to the vision of Ruwac founders. When Siegfried Wagner and Manfred Runge established Ruwac in 1976, they were in complete agreement about their objective: to produce the best vacuum cleaners. Vacuum cleaners that would cope with any type of material and could be used in the harshest environments. So there was no room for compromise, right from the start.

Qualified chief executive with experience in overseeing the daily activities of small businesses and large corporations alike. Kenneth partnered with Mike van Helsdingen in 2017. Educated in Mechanical engineering, Material Science, Mass Media and Broadcast Production, and renewable energy. Have an excellent command of proper English. Strong ability to solve complex company problems using excellent judgement and decision-making skills. Believe in receiving ongoing education and running a customer service-oriented company and have more than 15 years of experience in relevant positions.
